MXR Dyna Comp Mod Service and Pedals for sale in Fayetteville, Arkansas

$200

21 Nottingham DR From Modest Mike's Mods This is not a great recording, but hopefully good enough to hear the differences. This is my guitar to 2 pedals to my recorder. No added effects such as reverb, delay, chorus, ect...not even an amplifier. This is how I make adjustments when doing mods part of the time, by listening this way intently with a good set of headphones. Use headphones to listen if you have them. You should be able to tell that our modded Dyna Comp is a little warmer, has a little more sustain, and has a little better overall tone... a little more bass has been restored that these pedals filter off. These changes are more apparent when using your amp.Use your headphones!Yep, we have someone right here in our area that modifies guitar effects pedals! This listing is for mod service for your Dyna Comp, and we also have a Dyna Comp already modded for sale.Let's look at the mod 1st!If you own a Dyna Comp, well you already know you own a good compressor. It's a little on the harsh side. It could use more clarity. It lacks fullness and warmth. It has a bass roll off, maybe that's part of the vibe but I like my low end! It's not perfect, but if you want a better one, be prepared to spend $200 or more.Or bring it in for a tune-up!Let us mod your Dyna Comp to Ross compressor specs! The Ross compressor is 1 of the best sounding compressors. . .... ever! There's lots of details on the net about Dyna Comp and the Ross mod, just google it.WE DON'T STOP THERE! We take this mod another step into the Hi-Fi and clarity range. We replace cheaper components with higher quality components. We also change a few values of these components to improve the sound. This list of capacitors, resistors, transistors, diodes and the op amp includes the more expensive parts like the CA3080E op amp, germanium diodes, and 5 of my personal favorite 2N5088 transistors for high hfe and low noise. And yes, you get a cool LED. It's bright blue when on, clear when off. After our mod, your Dyna Comp can compete with those boutique pedals selling in the $300 range! $38 gets your Dyna Comp modded. We do the work, run a twelve hour burn test, and have it ready to rock in three business days...beat that!Just drop it off, or if you prefer you can mail it in to us. Just add $8 for the ride back home. We will still do the work, run the burn test, and have it on its way back home in three business days. Just send a quick email for address and telephone number. We have a new modded Dyna Comp for sale, it's the 1 in the picture. $116 local, or $124 includes USPS Priority shipping to any where in the continental United States. Thanks for looking, and keep rockin!Mike(click to respond)Listing originally posted at http
