King 606 Trombone w/ Hard Case & Mouthpiece, Made in USA, Read Description in Fayetteville, Arkansas

This King 606 Trombone was an instrument made in the USA. It comes with a durable hard case and a mouthpiece. The case has some wear to it in the form of it being scratched up, having rusted latches and hinges that function, and missing a brand nameplate on the side that usually says “KING” on it.The trombone comes with a cleaned BENGE 12C mouthpiece that is missing silver plating on the bottom portion of it as pictured. This tenor trombone is in a very used state of wear and has a worn/missing lacquer and nickel finish. The inside of the trombone has been cleaned but has a blue tarnish that can be removed if properly chemically cleaned by a professional, but as far as I know, this blue tarnish doesn't affect the playing capabilities of the trombone. The slide has minimal plating damage and has very small dents in it that you can feel when moving the slide. Adding trombone slide lubricant helps with the small dents in the slide but I would recommend taking this trombone to an instrument tech to get these dents out to prevent further damage to the trombone slide. The Trombone slide is also missing its slide bumper, this doesn’t affect the trombone's ability to be put down on the ground if you are on a carpeted surface. The tuning slide moves smoothly with tuning slide grease on it and the tuning slide has a few dents in the back of it that don't affect the playing quality of the instrument. This trombone produces a clear tone in the key of Bb/F and plays wonderfully for its condition. This trombone is a solid starter trombone for students going into the band and has a great history of being a great trombone model made by King.
